The Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis invites proposals for Advanced Workshops, Scientific Papers, Panels, Symposia and Posters for our 67th Annual Workshops and Scientific Program. (See details below.)

The submission deadline has been extended one week to March 22, 2016.

Call for Advanced Workshops

The Advanced Workshops will take place Friday, October 7 through Sunday,  October 9. SCEH's longstanding  tradition for its workshops is that they are scientifically-based and of the highest teaching quality. We strongly encourage workshops that include demonstrations and/or practica or other experiential components.

Call for Scientific Papers, Symposia, Panels and Posters

The 67th Scientific Session will run throughout the conference with keynotes on October 6, 7 and 8, and panels and presentations from Sunday October 9 through Monday October 10.  We invite researchers and clinicians to submit proposals for research presentations, symposia or posters addressing empirical issues in the science of hypnosis and related topics, including hypnotizability; mechanisms of hypnosis; applications in medicine and psychotherapy; placebo effects; mindfulness and contemplative practices. 

The SCEH Scientific Session provides a unique venue for presenting and integrating rigorous data-based findings in an atmosphere conducive to constructive criticism and debate.
