Call for Advanced Workshop Proposals

 We are now accepting Advanced Workshop proposals for the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis. We expect to have an unusually high number of submissions this year as we will be including a dentistry track and meeting jointly with the Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis (Ontario Division).  The meeting will be held at the Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto, Ontario Province, Canada, October 10-14, 2012. Toronto is a cultural, entertainment, and academic capital in North America.

The deadline for proposal submissions is April 15, 2012 

The SCEH tradition for workshops is that they are scientifically-based and of the highest teaching quality. We strongly encourage workshops with demonstrations and/or practica or other experiential components. To complete your submission, it is necessary that you send an electronic copy of your abstracts and proposed length of workshop to both the Advanced Workshop Co-Chairs, Philip D. Shenefelt, M. D. and  Claire Frederick, M.D. at the email addresses below. If you are proposing a workshop in dentistry, please submit your abstract as well to Gabor Filo, D.D.S , at the address below.

SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL
There are two steps to submitting a workshop proposal.

You can download the formal submission form here (). Please remember that no submission can be accepted if this form is not submitted.

PRESENTER FEES
We view the presentation of workshops at SCEH as both a service and an honor. All presenters must pay a reduced presenter registration fee of $250 even if they attend no workshops other than their own. Registration fees allow presenters to take additional workshops, attend the Scientific Sessions and receive continuing education credits in accordance with their professional board. The fees also help the society to cover a multitude of necessary conference expenses, including the advertisement of presenters’ workshops and credentials.
